Lil Durk was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Florida on Thursday night (Oct. 24). The 32-year-old rapper, a prominent figure from Chicago, was booked into the Broward County jail and is facing serious charges related to a murder-for-hire plot. He is currently being held without bail.
Earlier on Thursday, five members affiliated with Lil Durk's crew, known as Only the Family (OTF), were indicted in Los Angeles on federal charges. They are accused of plotting to kill fellow rapper Quando Rondo. The U.S. District Court charged Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston in connection to the case.
The charges stem from a 2022 incident when Quando Rondo and his entourage were targeted in a shooting at a gas station in Los Angeles. The attack resulted in the tragic death of Quando Rondo's 24-year-old cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. Investigators have linked the shooting to a retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von.
