Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are gearing up for the highly anticipated release of their new album, Missionary, set to drop on Dec. 13th.
The buzz surrounding the project skyrocketed after the duo revealed the official tracklist a few weeks ago. Fans were thrilled to see major names like Eminem, 50 Cent (both appearing on the same track), Tom Petty, Jhene Aiko, Sting, and more.
Adding to the excitement, the legendary collaborators have released a new single from the album titled ‘Outta Da Blue’, which they previewed for the first time at ComplexCon just a few days ago.
The track, featuring singer Alus, was also teased in the official trailer for the upcoming Netflix film ‘Back In Action’, starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. (Watch the trailer for a sneak peek!)
On ‘Outta Da Blue’, Dr. Dre not only showcases his signature production but also steps up to the mic to rap alongside Snoop Dogg. Fans are speculating whether the track samples M.I.A.’s iconic ‘Paper Planes’—can you hear it? Listen below to decide for yourself.
Stay tuned as Missionary promises to be one of the most exciting hip-hop releases of the year.
